Los Arcos>Logrono
Another great day, pumped up to 19 miles. Temp was in the high 80s, not much shade, but there was a nice breeze every once in a while. I was on the trail at 5:45 and enjoyed the morning cool. I Drank every chance I got, easily 5L. Talked with several pilgrims, lots of great folks. More rolling hills, less wheat, more grapes, pine and a desert smell that made me think of Sedona. Almost stepped on a small snake on the trail, got a photo from a safe distance. Visited the cathedral in Viana and had some tapas for lunch. It was hard to navigate Logrono, the streets were not well marked. The people however were very kind and gladly pointed the way. Ended up at a chain hotel with bath tub. I’m gong to soak my feet for a hour!
