Portomarin>Palas De Rei
We walked along the road for a majority of the day. Eunice and Concetta made wonderful sandwiches with tomato and a young cheese. The miles went by quickly and we arrived dusty and a little tired. We went shopping and got groceries for tomorrow. Called home, washed clothes and rested for a while before venturing out for salad and pizza for dinner. Eunice and Concetta went to a wonderful pilgrims mass that was led in English. I was sad to miss the service but the fatigue of the days is catching up with me a bit. I was asleep before the 8:00 mass was over.

Mmmm, sandwiches. Heavy storms here daily, so it’s good to see the sunshine in your pictures.
Love seeing those big feet and smaller feet … dusty but no blisters. Congratulations on your determination and endurance. Keep getting plenty of rest to carry on!
That sandwich looks good!
Ditto on the sandwiches. Great to see all trekking along. Great pics as well with very good narrative. Keep on, keeping on.
Anybody else notice that Derek seems more distracted since Mona showed up ? We have to wait for his posts now. #mrfitzerfanclub
Great looking sandwich! You all look wonderful. Like Marsha said, the sunshine in your pictures is gorgeous. The rain here never ends…
Hugs and kisses to all my pilgrims.

Hi all! I am a friend of Eunice’s and I have to say, it is amazing to get a glimpse in to this adventure. So, thank you for recording it and sharing it!
And the sandwiches look amazing!
