A Day of Travel

A cheap flight made for a tough day of travel.  We hopped Columbus to LaGuardia and then Ubered to JFJ.  JFK terminal one was hot and muggy, lacking power and the food offerings were overpriced and mediocre.  For the next round a headphone and charger adapter would have been a wise addition to the pack. My heel feels good as long as I stretch my calf every  few hours. I was able to sleep a solid 6 hours on the plane with the help of an ambien. We passed on the Norwegian Air meal and feasted on olives nuts dated cheese triscuts and Mona’s coveted snacks.  The exchange rates are still fluctuating. The Mona Ball is king and trading two to one with the grapenut cookie. We have Black Diamond dates that are delicious and I feel a good buy at 4:1 against the Mona ball.  I’m sure the market will go crazy as supplies dwindle and we have to dump the perishables at customs. We get a few hours in Madrid and then a hop on Ryan air to Porto!
