Jazzcaster body by Warmoth
Wow! I’ve been really into this idea since I saw a custom guitar in a makin music add about a year ago. Warmoth has obviously been getting few requests.
After a little brainstorming I think I would opt for a swamp ash body, an existing birds eye maple neck, black pick guard and a natural finish.
65 Fender concert amp
Went to the the guitar shop to buy a capo and walked out with a 1965-ish Fender Concert amp in a home made pine cabinet. Vibrato is dead, but it did make some noise in the shop, definitely needs major tlc.

Guitar Surgery
One of my seniors left a little pink guitar in the studio, it showed up on my desk snapped in half. Not sure if it was what caused the failure, this is one of the few neck repairs that match my amateur luthier skill level.

Spent an hour working sorting parts for a 1.5 watt practice amp based on a 12au7c
flame top Les Paul ’60s Tribute Studio…. wow…
60s studio tribute … wow exceeded my expectations by about 200%. Dude at Sam Ash said he had never seen this kind on flame on a studio. Awesome… I played the solo from Hotel California about 50 times.
Clap-ton-dectomy
Clapton – Amazing, Clapton mid boost kit, not so amazing.
Removed mid boost, new cts pots and 5 way switch, sprauge .022uF cap, and a 1/4″ switchcraft jack.
Sounds much better.. Sorry Eric.
